Session styling superpower Renya Xydis, recently returned from her behind-the-scenes stint directing the hair for Sass & Bide at London Fashion Week, entertained the audience by creating some of her typically fashion-forward editorial looks – think avant garde shapes: oversized French rolls, artfully mussed fishtail plaits, exaggerated rockabilly style quiffs and outrageous, gorgeous va-va-voom volume.
The show was hosted by ghd Education Manager for Australia, Robert Kovacs, and Renya was assisted on stage by two of her protégés: Chris Hunter, who recently accompanied Renya backstage in London and Ryan Mitchell who will be assisting Renya on Sass & Bide’s next catwalk show overseas.
