Employees at the Southgate Street salon in Winchester have been selling raffle tickets for the past month, with many local firms donating gifts.
They include near neighbours Childhood’s Dream, Hotel Du Vin and Blues sandwich shop.
Other prizes included tickets to Abbotsbury Swannery in Dorset, GHD hair straighteners and TIGI products worth £180.
Jewellery from All That Glitters, chocolates from Thorntons, flowers from Mills and Bloom and street vendors Bill and Burt were also donated.
Winchester MP Steve Brine, who leads the cross-party group on breast cancer, offered tea for two at the House of Commons.
As well as the raffle, the salon donated all the takings from the charity day last Saturday (October 23) to the cause.
Stephen Carr Smith, who chairs the Winchester branch of Cancer Research UK, collected the cheque.
Nuria Gonzalez, who owns the salon, said the money would be used for research into breast cancer.
“The day was a great success, we raised more than I thought we would, people were so generous and it was great fun,” she said.
