Three Hot Christmas hairdos with ghd styler

part hair with ghd
Christmas is approaching and all the best Christmas parties call for fabulous hair. Apart from using top notch hair and hair care products to keep your hair shiny and silky throughout the festive season, you also want to style your hair just right for all the merry-making ahead. Today our cheap ghd blog will share you three Christmas dos you can create yourself at home. These hairstyles can be easily created with our ghd hair products.

Up/Down Combo

1. Prep the hair with ghd Thermal Protector and ghd Obedience Cream, dried in with a blow dryer. The ghd Obedience Cream will minimize frizz for a smoother, sleeker finish.

2. Section off the hair above the 'O' bone to back of ear and roll under onto itself, secured with a pin.

3. Take some of the higher sections on each side and pull them around the existing roll to loosen lengths then pin them in.

4. Section off the rest of the hair from the bottom, then using the ghd iv styler, create a slight water wave in the hair. A water wave is achieved by placing the ghd iv at the root of the hair and turning it slightly under, then reverse this by going 'up-side-down', repeating all the way down the section of hair.

5. Continue throughout remaining sections of hair and when complete, tuck the ends up into the pre-rolled section. This style will give you a 'sexy' wave in a shorter looking length.

6. Spray with ghd Ultimate Hairspray to finish.

Beachy Look

1. Prep the hair with ghd Thermal Protector and ghd Maximise Mousse, dried in with a blow dryer.

2. Part your hair where it falls naturally, then starting at base of head, take a one inch square section and smooth out the hair using the ghd iv salon styler. Spray each section with ghd Creation Spray before styling for extra hold.

3. Once the section is cool, use the styler on an angle to create a curl.

4. Continue over the head, while gradually dragging the roots to keep them smooth.

5. Go back to starting point and taking the 'curls' in your fingers, run your fingers up each section, almost "backbrushing" each curl. This gives a softer flow to the hair, and a fluffier feel.

6. Spray with ghd Ultimate Hairspray to hold, or ghd Sea Spray for a more natural ‘beachy’ finish.

Dishevelled Ponytail

1. Prep the hair with ghd Thermal Protector and ghd Maximise Mousse, dried in with a blow dryer.

2. Section off the sides of the hair from the temples to front of ear, leaving out the centre section.

3. Tie back the rest of hair into a pony tail at the lowest part of crown

4. Smooth the side sections and wrap around base of pony, pinning at the top of head

5. Using the GHD Gold Classic Styler on an angle, run the plate through the hair, taking each section of the pony and secure with pin. Using the Classic ghd Hair Straightener on an angle will create natural looking movement in the hair. Leave each section to cool. When using the ghd gold classic styler to curl or wave, each section should only be about one inch thick.

6. Take each section and tease the roots, then smooth down and pin into desired shape.

7. Spray with ghd Ultimate Hairspray for extra hold.

You Will No.1 By Following The Hair Fashion Advice

Everyone wants to be fashionista. We focus on latest Fashion Week, celebrities and hair trend. We just want to make us refresh all the time. We will talk about how to keep update with hair fashion in this post at our cheap ghd.
In face,Hair fashion is an ever-changing world. Watching the style makers – celebrities and fashion designers – can cause us to want to change our personal look every three months or so, if not even more often. Keeping current in your hairstyle and hair color can be a daunting task. Yet, many of us don’t want to be caught wearing a dated looking ‘old-stand-by’ style. How does one keep an up-to-date look? Current fashion and celebrity magazines are a good place to start for a source of information on where the world of fashion is heading.

After browsing the fashion mags and finding several styles that catch our eye, how can we know which of these is the one that will flatter us, as well as fit into our busy lifestyle? Many hairstyle and color trends are meant to be just that – trends – not a definite style. Many of the styles that you see in magazines are not practical for everyday wear and not appropriate for everyone. Trends are meant to be followed as a general guideline, with the lines and proportions adapted to the individual.
Often, the worst thing a woman can do is copy an exact hairstyle from a magazine when that style does not complement her age, physical appearance or her lifestyle.

Fashion is always changing
After finding the perfect trendy haircut and enjoying it for a time, how do we get to the next trend? Another pitfall of wearing an exact hairstyle trend is that it will become dated more quickly. People can say, “Yes, she is wearing the XXX style that was so popular two years ago.” It is safer to follow the feeling of the trend by making subtle changes rather than acquiring the exact cut. It is fun to make big changes but you can be caught having a long grow out period before you can catch up with the next trend.
Big Changes
Unless you are a woman who is always very adventurous and who is very secure with her self-image, I advise against making huge changes in one salon visit. For example; the woman who goes from long hair that has a romantic feel, to very short hair with severe lines is often unhappy with the result. She has gone from a style with a feminine feel to one that is more masculine in comparison. When cutting off length, it is usually wiser to transition to a not quite so short style that has soft fringy lines to keep the feminine feeling. Shorter versions of this style can be adopted later.

When browsing the magazines to find your next hairstyle or hair color, ask yourself if that new hairstyle will flatter your individual features and will it relate to who you are? Does it flatter your face shape as well as your personality? Does the new hair color complement your complexion and bring out your prettiest features and will it be appropriate for all areas of your life?
And our ghd hair blog has prepared for you som tips about how to choose your hair cut which can flatter your face shape:Cheap GHD teach you how to Choose Right Haircut

GHD teach you to create a glamorous hair step by step

Halloween is coming, and the next is Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day! How to make you refresh in holiday season? Would you like to change your hairstyle into a glamorous hair? This holiday go all out glam with full, softly waved and curled hair.
So this post we will share you how to create a full, softly waved and curled hair by yourself with our step by step tips from ghd straighteners blog.
  • Shampoo and condition your hair with body building products that are suited for your hair texture. If your hair is fine in texture, be sure to rinse very well after the conditioner.
  • Apply a firm hold styling foam or glaze. Comb it through from the roots to the ends.
  • Spray Root Lifter at the root area of the hair only, through the top and crown.
  • Dry your hair from the scalp out to about mid-way out, with a ghd blow dryer and fingers, turning your head upside-down for fullness. The Root Lifter will give extra support and fullness.
  • The ends of your hair will be damp. Scrunch them – yes, even though your hair is straight - scrunch the ends dry with a diffuser or wad them up and clip them with 6-8 jaw clips and let dry as long as you can while you are doing other things. Take the clips out and finish drying your hair with a diffuser.
  • Curl your bangs with an extra-large curling iron, comb them down or swoop them to the side. For creating bigger, softer curls, you should choose hair straighteners with wide plates. With the widest plates of all our stylers the ghd iv salon styler is ideal for controlling longer, thicker hair or creating bigger, softer curls.
  • Spray your hair with flexible hold hairspray.
  • Comb with your fingers and curl from about ear-level down to the ends with a ghd salon. You can take large sections. For a faster set, try hot rollers and let them cool before taking them out.
  • Comb with your fingers and spray with light, flexible hairspray.
Then a glamorous hair was finished. Wish you a happy holiday season.

Step By Step To Bleach Hair At Home

Would you like to bleach your hair at home? Whenever there is a thought of going for blond locks, we automatically think of bleaching the hair because that is what will get us to the results that we desire. Whether your bleaching your hair to blond or red from a dark hair color, understand that you are running the risk of damaging your hair. If you are bleaching your hair yourself, you must be extremely careful to follow the directions. So today our ghd straighteners blog will share you tips about how to bleach your hair without damage your hair or can damage your skin.
What you should consider Before you choose to bleach:
That doing it yourself you run the risk of ruining your hair and your skin
If you have naturally dark hair, you will have to remember it will take several treatments which in the end could damage your hair
If your hair already has coloring already, you will need to remove the color before getting a bleaching treatment
If you had any type of chemical service done, you will have to wait a few weeks before bleaching
You should understand that bleaching will cause some damage to the hair, especially for using poor hair styling products.
Steps you should take when you plan to bleach your hair
Gather your bleaching kit and make sure you have read the instucutions and have all the required instruments needed to bleach
Make sure you are using a reputable brand, the global hair product brand-GHD can be your best choice. GHD hair offer you all the styling tools without damaging your hair.
If you can, have a reliable friend help you
A few days before bleaching, try doing a patch test on your strand that is inconspicuous and see how that turns out. Make sure you are not allergic
The night before bleaching, make sure you have washed and conditioned your hair
Wear a towel and gloves and apply petroleum around your hair line and ears
Start from the back of your hair and try to move in 1/2 sections, working quickly but moving forward as well as the back tends to be the darkest part
Work on applying the bleach to the roots last so that it does not burn your hair or scalp
Once the hair is covered with bleach, apply a plastic cap around the head and leave on as directed
Do not leave the bleach on longer then directed. If you feel any pressure or pain, rinse the bleach out immediately as it is more then likely doing damage to your scalp
Rinse out and shampoo as normal
Never bleach your eyebrows or eyelashes, this can and will cause blindness
If you need to bleach again, give it a few days before trying to bleach
Keep hair conditioned as now hair is susceptible  to dryness and extreme breakage. Pump up the moisture game.

Just 30 Seconds Get Famous Stars'Holiday Updo

Do you believe you can get famous stars' holiday updo just in 30 Seconds? It's easy if you follow the tips our ghd blog offer you.

Ah yes, it is that time again, when you may be just a week or two or days even from your first holiday party. Unfortunately this year the recession has hit everyone, and not everyone has the luxury of spending half a day at the stylist anymore, not even near the holiday crunch. So if you are wondering what to do with your hair this holiday season, and still look glam and fabulous, go for the 30 second updo. Not only is it super sexy and super chic, but it really does only take 30 seconds, and the end result is a no muss no fuss chic pulled together look.

So what is the best part? You don't even have to wash your hair if you don't want to. In fact, second day hair will actually make this one even easier. If you are stuck with some wallet crunching this holiday season, and have just enough hair to clip back, follow these simple steps to a super simple updo that will have heads turning all night long.

Step 1 Pull your hair back into a ponytail.

Step 2 Twist the ponytail like a rope until the pony starts to buckle and loop upwards, but not too tight.

Step 3 Use a clip or barrette and clip the loop in place at the back of your head. Try placing the clip towards the top of the loop so that the back looks almost like a chignon.

Step 4 Fan the ends of your pony upward and place on top of your head. If your hair is super long, you can pin them at the top of your head if you want. If your hair is longer, you can curl the ends with an flat iron. The ghd limited edition color collection can be your best choice. This new ghd color collection has been launched for 2010 and now become ghd bestseller. And then place them with pins on top of your head. This may take longer than the 30 second updo, but it is a far cry from styling your hair before you go out.

Tips and Tricks:

The greasier the better with this look, so go a day or two unwashed when you try this, the chignon will hold much nicer. Your updo will hold longer as well, and if you want some nice morning after waves, sleep with your clip on for a casual wavy look the next morning.

If you are using this for a night out, a razor sharp side part will create just a smidge more elegance.
