GHD goes pink
Since 2004 ghd and Breakthrough Breast Cancer have worked together to generate a massive £3.9 million to fund life saving breast cancer research, campaigning and education work. This dedicated partnership continues in 2010 with the hope that this year's fundraising will be bigger and better than ever: raising even more funds to support Breakthrough's vital work.Limited editions
For the last six years ghd has produced a unique, limited-edition pink styler and made a donation to the charity from each sale. The last few years have seen phenomenal success with our hot pink, Kiss and baby pink limited editions becoming instant hits amongst fashionistas.Pink is back for 2010. Our gorgeous new GHD pink Limited Edition features the classic ghd IV styler in a sleek white gloss with intricate pink pattern and fun pink plates. It also comes with a Pink raffia heat resistant roll bag, to house your styler and accessories and a white compact mirror that matches your styler, perfect for re-touching your look on the go.
Group effort
GHD also motivates its huge network of stockists to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout October, salons nationwide turn pink and host fundraising activities in support of Breakthrough Breast Cancer and ghd's pink campaign.A wide variety of fundraising activities including pink days, fancy dress, pamper parties, sponsored walks, wax-a-thons, raffles, competitions and bike rides all have contributed to a fantastic total contribution from ghd stockists which is upwards of £160,000.
In 2010 we hope to surpass all previous totals and have a lot of fun along the way. Come to choose your pink ghd.
