According to foreign media reported that the GHD’ s new 15600 square feet area headquarters was designed by Carey Jones Architects ,which is located in Bridgewater Place of Leeds city .As the top of the world ’s manufactures of irons and hair products ,the creation of space reflects the GHD’s fashion style and core values of life.
The new headquaters is not only the product showcase ,but also hosting important events and activities to international market .The new HQ privides office room for 55 employees ,and also privide a unique enviroment for customers and visitors . Key elements include the creation of a striking reception area with a catwalk, a multi-functional training academy, open plan offices with a high specification boardroom and break out meeting areas.
Beth Watson, project manager for the development of ghd and the education director at ghd, said: “It has taken two years to plan and develop our new HQ and it is amazing to finally move in. We wanted to stay loyal to our Yorkshire heritage as a brand and felt that Leeds was the right location to invest in as we move forward to the next stage of our development.”
